We're just a few hours away from the 6A-1 State Championship game! Our Trojans are prepped, pepped, and ready to battle for the Gold. We'll see you tonight at the @ucobronchos for kickoff at 7 pm. #TakeStateTrojans 👏🏈🏆

It's almost time for our Jenks Trojan Football team to go #goldballchasin, but before they head to Edmond, they had to make a few quick stops! Jenks Cheer and Pom joined the boys in the halls of our elementary and intermediate sites for State Pep Parades to fire up our Trojans. What an incredible amount of spirit and support throughout the District! #TakeStateTrojans 👏🏈

Friday + Jenks West Elementary Marvelous Moms = 🤩👏🤍
It's always a fun morning filled with smiles and giggles when JWE moms visit! Thank you, moms, for supporting your child's classroom and being here to brighten the day of these young Trojans!

Northwest Elementary Trojans enjoyed a wonderful Thanksgiving feast together at lunch this afternoon. This lunch was made special with homemade placemats, table conversation starters, and "servers"- aka NWE staff- to fill up students' cup with lemonade. What a great way to teach our Trojans how sharing a meal with friends or family is a great way to have quality time with those we value and appreciate. We love to see it! Cheers!

Each semester, administrators, JPS Board of Education members, and community representatives visit different sites to experience learning in the classroom and progress in our District. Today's focus throughout the Fall Board Showcase was to make connections throughout the District to the Portrait of a Graduate framework. Some highlights included problem-solving at Jenks West Intermediate, learning how to effectively communicate emotions at Jenks Northwest Elementary, CareerTech programming through agricultural education and STEM at Jenks Middle School, and collaborative project-based learning at Jenks East Intermediate. Thanks to all the principals, teachers, and staff members who made this showcase possible!

Congratulations to Jenks High School student-athlete and Volleyball player, Kynli Kirkendoll, for signing her letter of intent to continue her academic and volleyball career at the University of Tennessee Chattanooga . We know you will do great things on and off the court, Kynli! 🏐👏 #ForeverATrojan

What a night! Jenks East Elementary obtained a grant from the Tulsa Regional STEM Alliance that allowed them to hold a free STEM Family Night event at the Discovery Lab yesterday evening. Over 1200 people came to learn, explore, and have fun! Thank you Tulsa Regional STEM Alliance for giving our JEE Trojans and their families this incredible experience.

Congrats to Jenks Pom on finishing runner...WAIT. WHAT? Correction - Jenks Pom took state! After the OSSAA determined a judging error was made during the state competition, the Trojans were named the 6A Large School State Champs! The girls were surprised, shocked, and thrilled to learn the news, and we are so proud of this achievement and all the hard work they put in to make it happen! With this championship, Jenks has now won 200 athletic state championships in school history (who's counting?)! It's over 200 if you count the fine arts and activities state titles. #homeofchampions

It was a reel great afternoon for Jenks East Intermediate students who participated in the lunch fishing club! 😉🎣 This small lunch club hosted by parent volunteer, Matt Knox, had their last class today. Students were given fishing poles donated by Zebco to practice casting their lines with, but were surprised at the end of the class to find out the poles were theirs to keep. Thank you, Matt Knox, for volunteering your time and to Zebco for your donation to these Trojans!

Inventing, designing, coding, and problem solving is exactly what Jenks East Intermediate 5th grade students have been up to recently. Students collaborated together to create robots, video games, and structures. This afternoon, the JEI STEM Lab was filled with students showcasing their hardwork to their friends and families! Incredible work, Trojans!
