Rock on! 🤘🎻🎸🎼
All JPS 4th graders spent their morning rocking out with the Tulsa Symphony! Students engaged with Carnegie Hall's Link Up program by bringing their recorders and playing along side the orchestra. This year's theme explored the different sounds and rhythms that allowed students to discover how the orchestra truly rocks! Thank you, Jenks Public Schools Foundation, for making this experience possible for our students through the Growing through the Arts initiative.

Here they are...the 2023-24 Site Teachers of the Year! This is a truly remarkable group of educators who show up for our students every day for the right reasons. We are so fortunate to have talented teachers like these throughout our District! Join us in congratulating our Site Teachers of the Year!

These professionals are teaching character traits, tackling challenges alongside teachers and staff, and providing unmatched care and compassion for all students. Our schools wouldn't be the same without them! #NationalSchoolCounselingWeek

Let's hear it for the girls! 🤩🏆🎉
Both varsity and JV Jenks Pom teams are coming home from Orlando as National Game Day Champions! This is the first time in program history that the varsity squad took home a national title in Game Day, and the JV squad earned this title in 2019, 2020, and 2023. Way to go, ladies!

Parents of tiny Trojans,
It’s almost time! Pre-K and Kindergarten enrollment for the 2024-25 school year opens on Monday, February 19 at 9 a.m.
At that time, a link will appear on the homepage of the Jenks Public Schools’ website and on the JPS Enrollment Center webpage. Parents must wait for the 2024-25 link to enroll. The forms available now on the Enrollment Center webpage are for this year only. Enrollments cannot be transferred from one year to another.
Enrollment is for first-time students only! If your child was enrolled in Pre-K this year, you do not need to re-enroll to enter Kindergarten next year. If your child was not in Pre-K at JPS but will attend Kindergarten at JPS, you must complete enrollment.
Enrollments will be processed on a first-come-first-serve basis. Parents will receive the following emails during the enrollment process:
• When an account is created in P Enrollment
• When the application is submitted for review
• When the Enrollment Center has approved the application
You can complete the entire process online but be sure you have a digital copy of all the required forms. You will need the following documents to complete enrollment:
• Proof of residence (utility bill or copy of lease)
• Driver’s license of parent
• Current immunization records
• Certified birth certificate
• Custody/Guardianship and Divorce Decrees (if applicable)
• Other information (if applicable)
Questions? Contact the JPS Enrollment Center at enrollment.center@jenksps.org or 918-298-0338.

Game on! 🏀
Jenks Middle School Student Council hosted a JMS staff vs. student basketball game this afternoon. Both teams dominated on the court, but JMS staff came out on top, defeating their students by one point. Even the halftime performances by Pom, Cheer, and the teacher dance squad were a slam dunk! Incredible effort, Trojans!

JPS Parents & Guardians,
Due to freezing rain, hazardous road conditions, and unsafe access to JPS buildings, Jenks Public Schools will be closed on Monday, January 22. Tomorrow is a traditional snow day. It is not a distance learning day. All Community Education programs are canceled for Monday and the Early Childhood Center will be closed. All activities and athletic events scheduled for Monday are canceled. This day will have to be made up at the end of the school year by utilizing a weather day on the instructional calendar.
