We loved having a special visit from Hornsby from the Tulsa Drillers today! ⚾️
Hornsby and Mr. Taylor had our students hooked as they learned just how much sugar is hiding in soda, sports drinks, and juice, and why water is the best choice! 💧Students even learned they should aim for 6–7 cups of water a day to stay hydrated and healthy. Safe to say… they LOVED it!

Our students had a fantastic time at the Young Athletes Youth Leadership Summit at the Ascension St. John Sportsplex! They rotated through fun activities focused on teamwork, leadership, and inclusion while partnering with high school students. It was wonderful to see everyone encouraging one another, building connections, and having so much fun together!
Students in Ms. Stauffer’s class had a very special morning meeting today—led by their own classmates! These awesome leaders taught the class how to say numbers, the alphabet, and greetings in their native languages, Zomi and Burmese. It was such a meaningful way for our class to learn about different cultures and celebrate the languages that make our classroom community so special. We are so proud of these students for confidently sharing a part of who they are and helping all of us grow as learners and friends. What a wonderful reminder that every voice and every culture adds something valuable to our classroom!
