To all the brave American heroes, thank you for your service and sacrifice. #VeteransDay 🇺🇸

Students and veterans were honored yesterday during our JEI Veteran's Day and character trait assembly. Our Veteran guest speaker, JEI's own, Andrew Reyna, spoke to students. JEI is sending a huge thank you to all veterans for their service to our country! 5th and 6th graders were also awarded with the Compassion Character Trait award. Inclusiveness Character Trait winners were also recognized from an assembly that was held earlier in the year. JEI loves the positive example that these students exemplify. Congratulations!

JEI staff wants to send a huge thank you to our wonderful JEI PTAG for a delicious lunch. The PTAG treated the staff to Upper Crust salad, bread and pasta that was donated by the Hal Smith Group. We feel so loved by this yummy treat!

Inventing, designing, coding, and problem solving is exactly what Jenks East Intermediate 5th grade students have been up to recently. Students collaborated together to create robots, video games, and structures. This afternoon, the JEI STEM Lab was filled with students showcasing their hardwork to their friends and families! Incredible work, Trojans!

Clara Sackey, Director of Donor Relations and sister to Mrs. Copsey, spoke to students at our Character Trait Assembly. Her work at the Pearl House in Ghana, Africa is a great example of compassion. Congratulations to our Teamwork and Sportsmanship Character Trait winners. Thank you for being good examples of great character!

Brenda Wilson and Sarah Miller, along with JEI 6th Grade girls spent the day at The Women in Science Conference at the OKC Science Museum learning about STEM careers, listening to a panel of women in STEM fields, participating in an engineering challenge and exploring the museum.
