Peers with Purpose is a group where students come together to build friendships, have fun, and support each other. Through community service, art projects, games, and group activities, students learn the value of kindness, inclusion, and connection. We love seeing the big smiles on these incredible JEI students!

JEI is 25 years old! The Celebration of Learning was a celebration of student work samples, 25 years of JEI, student performances and the introduction of a new lunch club - Disc Golf! Under the direction of our Music Teachers, Lauren Garcia-Dixon and Nicole Mackey, the 5th grade students performed a fun musical titled "Growing Together" that went along with our JEI site theme of the year. Mrs. Garcia-Dixon and Ms. Mackey organized 4-5 classes at a time to collaborate for the performance. The musical was entertaining and the performers and speakers were impressive! Way to go, Trojans!

Jenks East Intermediate 6th Grade TSA students competed in Norman on April 14th and 15th in several events. The students have put in many hours this year working toward the State Conference. This is our first year to compete and Mrs. Brenda Wilson is so proud of their dedication and perseverance. Way to go Trojans!

At our recent Character Trait Assembly, Carmon Drummond, from USA BMX spoke to students about having courage. BMX racer, Dravin Groove, wowed students with some trick riding. 5th and 6th grade students also performed a skit for students and talked about the character trait of courage.
