Our tiniest Trojans love the weekly Trojan Tots program. This weekly time is geared to provide an enrichment opportunity for the little ones. Come join us as we create art, sing songs, read books, and learn to play with our new friends. A big shout-out to Megan Desmarais from Megan's Piano, who is a fabulous partner sharing her gifts just for us! We love Miss Megan.

Our best leaders are those who have a heart to serve - Emily Collins embodies this perfectly. She is relentless in her pursuit to better our community and the opportunities of our staff, students and families at Jenks East Elementary. Her services through Trojan Tots, Trojan Explorers, Summer Camp and more will leave a ripple effect for a lifetime. She creates an atmosphere of care and belonging while providing exciting educational experiences such as the STEM Alliance Night at the Discovery Lab (that was paid for by a grant she applied for and her many hours of planning made it a success!). She is the best at what Jenks has to offer and we are ever so grateful to call her ours.

Each year, we ask colleagues to nominate certified and classified employees for recognition for the incredible work they do. This year’s nominees are no exception to this tradition of excellence! We have representation from across our site from teachers to specialists to therapists and beyond. We are thankful for the work that these individuals put in with their students, the families of JEE and their colleagues to make this school such a special place. Congratulations to each of our Employee of the Year nominees!
Earlier this school year, 3rd and 4th grade students wrote essays about why they wanted a bike and what it would mean to them to have one of their own. Throughout the fall semester, 1️⃣5️⃣ students received free bikes and helmets thanks to the generosity of @swervefoundation. Each bike presentation not only makes a lasting impact on these students but on everyone there experiencing the overwhelming joy and excitement! We love to see these Trojans' dreams come true! 😌🚲

What a night! Jenks East Elementary obtained a grant from the Tulsa Regional STEM Alliance that allowed them to hold a free STEM Family Night event at the Discovery Lab yesterday evening. Over 1200 people came to learn, explore, and have fun! Thank you Tulsa Regional STEM Alliance for giving our JEE Trojans and their families this incredible experience.
