We are feeling so grateful! 💙
A huge THANK YOU to Rack Room Shoes for their incredibly generous donation of shoes to help replenish our clothing closet. Because of your kindness, our students will walk a little more confidently each day.
This is the second time this year that Rack Room has shown up in such a big way for our school community, and we truly can’t thank you enough. Your generosity is making a real difference!

💙 We Need You, Families! 💙
Our PTA does amazing things for our students and staff—but it only works because of the incredible support from our families!
Right now, we have open positions on our PTA board and on several committees, and we would love for you to be part of the team. Whether you have a lot of time to give or just a little, every helping hand makes a difference.
Getting involved is a great way to support our school, connect with other families, and help create memorable experiences for our students.
✨ Consider signing up and joining the PTA team—we truly need your help!

Tiny scientists, BIG bubbles! Yesterday our Pre-K students discovered the magic and science of bubbles during a hands-on visit from the Discovery Lab today. Such a fun way to explore science through play! Thank you, Jenks Public Schools Foundation, for funding this experience!

Wishing our Jenks East Families a safe and warm snow day!

We hope your family has begun reading Alvin Ho at home. Teachers began doing activities and having discussions in their classrooms yesterday. We will end our event with a visit from LeUyen Pham, the illustrator of the book! Thank you, PTA, for making this event happen. Happy reading!

Celebrated the start of our 6th annual JEE reads with a fun assembly led by a few 4th grade students. This year's book will be, Alivin Ho written by Lenore Look.

Wishing everyone a safe, warm, and wonderful Holiday break. What fun we had the last week before winter break!

Jenks East Elementary was full of fun surprises and holiday cheer the last week before break.
A heartfelt thank you to the Swerve Foundation and Relation Insurance for surprising some of our second grade students with brand-new bikes and helmets—what a special and memorable gift!
We’re incredibly grateful to make moments like these possible for our Trojans, spreading generosity, joy, and holiday cheer throughout our school community. 💙✨

This week, Jenks East Elementary proudly announced Cathy Miner as our Classified Employee of the Year and Joyce Green as our Teacher of the Year!
Our staff recognized Cathy as the most positive, kind, and caring person—while somehow juggling everything in our front office. With 26 years of dedication to East Elementary, Cathy is truly the one who “just knows everything,” and we couldn’t imagine our school without her.
Joyce’s colleagues praise her incredible ability to build genuine connections with her second grade students and to intrinsically motivate learning. She’s a champion for her teammates, a mentor to others, and someone who goes above and beyond every single day.
Congratulations to both of our winners! Our school—and our community—are better because of your dedication, heart, and service.
