We hope your family has begun reading Alvin Ho at home. Teachers began doing activities and having discussions in their classrooms yesterday. We will end our event with a visit from LeUyen Pham, the illustrator of the book! Thank you, PTA, for making this event happen. Happy reading!

A heartfelt thank you to the Swerve Foundation and Relation Insurance for surprising some of our second grade students with brand-new bikes and helmets—what a special and memorable gift!
We’re incredibly grateful to make moments like these possible for our Trojans, spreading generosity, joy, and holiday cheer throughout our school community. 💙✨
Thank you for helping create smiles and memories that will last a lifetime!

Our staff recognized Cathy as the most positive, kind, and caring person—while somehow juggling everything in our front office. With 26 years of dedication to East Elementary, Cathy is truly the one who “just knows everything,” and we couldn’t imagine our school without her.
Joyce’s colleagues praise her incredible ability to build genuine connections with her second grade students and to intrinsically motivate learning. She’s a champion for her teammates, a mentor to others, and someone who goes above and beyond every single day.
Congratulations to both of our winners! Our school—and our community—are better because of your dedication, heart, and service.

We hope you enjoy your brand-new bikes and appreciate you for showing up and supporting our school events. You make our community stronger! 💙
A huge THANK YOU to City Cycles for building these amazing bikes for our students. Your generosity helped make this event unforgettable!

Save the Date! Grab your mittens and your favorite people. We’d love for you and your family to join us on Saturday, December 13th for our annual Bookmobile Winter Run & Book Drive! The Lady Trojan Basketball Team will be out volunteering and we’ve got a very special guest driving the bookmobile… let’s just say he’s jolly, wears red, and loves cookies. Want to support the magic? Donation opportunities are available and appreciated! Let’s spread warmth, stories, and community cheer this winter!

Friday, October 31st!

Our students exceeded expectations during the fundraiser, which means Dr. Glaze kept his promise and slept on the roof of the school last night!

TONIGHT from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM go enjoy a great meal and a great cause! District Burger is generously donating 15% of all sales to support our program!

Ms. Harris' fourth graders just wrapped up their "Egg Racers" science unit with a crackin' final challenge!
Students built rubber-band powered cars to race their egg passengers—learning all about energy transfer, teamwork, and the thrill of science in motion!
From designing and testing to naming their brave little eggs (Go Eggward and Shelly!), these young scientists showed off their creativity and collaboration every step of the way.
We’re SO proud of our future engineers and their egg-straordinary work!

Join us on October 27 or 28 from 4:30-6:00 for a night of unplugged fun with your family at the Building D Playground!
It’s a great way to connect, play, and make some sweet fall memories together!
We can’t wait to see our Jenks East Elementary families there!

We’re excited to announce that Jenks East Elementary Run Club is starting next week!
Students will train twice a week, on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 3:30-4:30 to prepare for the Route 66 5K race in November. This is a great, fun way for students to stay active and work toward a goal together! See the attached flyer for
The best part? It’s completely FREE!
