She continuously values relationships with her students and their families while always striving to help them grow academically. Congratulations to Mrs. Horgen and we look forward to sharing more about her as well as our other candidates very soon!

Our Pre-K students kicked off the fall season with their very first field trip, strolling to a nearby pumpkin stand for some autumn fun! With the help of our wonderful Jenks campus police, our little ones crossed safely and enjoyed picking out their own pumpkins, generously gifted by Sooner Produce. Huge thanks to everyone who made this festive day a memorable one!

Mrs. Peper's 1st grade class has been learning about the pumpkin life cycle as well as presenting ideas through writing in a sequence of steps. These came together today when they wrote about how to carve a pumpkin while actually getting to help carve a pumpkin! It was a wonderful learning experience and all agree that pumpkin carving is very cool but the slimy seeds do not feel great!

Show us your favorite character by dressing up on October 31st! We can't wait to see you all!

Ms. Thomas' class is showing there are no limits to what pre-k can do! Our youngest Trojans are learning multi-step directions through their farm unit by making butter! These students are learning by creating something by following steps and listening carefully. Excellent job, Ms. Thomas for making learning fun for students and putting trust in them that they can participate in a new experience!

The annual book character pumpkin contest is underway! Classes in building F are voting for a character in a beloved book and then decorating their pumpkins for a fun contest in Mrs. Cates' library. In Ms. Kelly's 1st grade class, the students took their leadership jobs even further by creating teams to complete their pumpkin masterpiece. This student is part of the painting team. Thank you parents for donating materials and volunteering to help bring their creativity to life! Who will win the contest? We will find out!

It's time for Habit Harvest! Which day will you choose?
Let's enjoy a family night with our friends!

When math and the real world collide - Mrs. Dziadula is ready with fun and delicious ideas! Mrs. Dziadula chooses to teach math in real life experiences such as baking pumpkin bread with her students. Not only does this allow them to flex many math skills but students also get to practice reading comprehension and application of a recipe. Way to be JEE, Mrs. Dziadula!

As we are enjoying Fall Break, let's enjoy a Flashback Friday.
Flashback to the JPS Kickoff for this year, we congratulate and appreciate the years of service of these True Trojans!
These educators have worked tirelessly and selflessly to make Jenks Public Schools a better place. Thank you for your dedication!
