The Spring Concert is open to all students and families at JWI.
The Awards Celebration is for 6th grade choir members and their guests.*
Jenks Wild Information for current 5th graders - 5:30-6:00 pm
5th grade families - come learn about the Jenks Wild experience that your child will have the opportunity to attend next year as a 6th grader.
Art Show 5:00-6:00 pm
Come view the creative work of our 5th and 6th grade students displayed around the school.
Our art show will be a come-and-go experience so your family can also attend the Choir Concert, Jenks Wild meeting, and/or visit any other resources!

A group of JWI students got to hear from author Gennifer Choldenko, get books signed, and have a tour of the Tulsa Central Library. WI 6th grader, Penelope got to present the Sequoyah Award to the author!
The 3v3 Tournament might have been the highlight of the season, but the learning started long before the first whistle. Our teachers brought the excitement of March Madness into the classroom while strengthening students math skills! Using basketball data, teams were diving into real-world data analysis and practicing important concepts along the way.
Students were:
📈 Plotting and graphing player data
📏 Calculating mean, median, and mode for player heights
➗ Interpreting remainders in game-related scenarios
🔢 Exploring ratios and comparisons
💬 Communicating and collaborating with teammates to analyze results
By connecting math to something students love, they’re building strong data analysis skills while working together and thinking critically. Who knew basketball could be such a powerful math tool?
From coordinated colors to matching costumes, the "fit" game was just as strong as the jump shots!
We were so impressed by the teamwork and stellar sportsmanship displayed by every single player.
A massive THANK YOU to the volunteers who kept the clocks running and the energy high.
We couldn't think of anyone more deserving of the center-court spotlight.

Meet the Teacher is Tuesday, August 12th!
You should receive a phone call from a JWI staff member( on August 8th or 11th) to schedule this meeting- if you haven't scheduled an appointment, please call the front office at 918-299-4415.
Make sure your registration is completed!
Entrance / Parking
The entrance for the MTT event is at the north end. Make plans to park in the north parking lot by the cafeteria/ by the bus oval.
Appointments
Arrive 30 minutes before your scheduled meeting with the teacher.
You will have to check in and receive a Chromebook before you can go to the classroom.
If you don’t have an appointment, you must check-in at the front office.
