Another roundup of amazing employees! We are lucky to have them at JEE!

This morning, members of the JPS Board of Education and administrators stepped into classrooms and media centers for an inside look into our school sites' learning and outstanding educational programs. Each stop was tied into the attributes and characteristics of the Portrait of a Graduate framework.
Highlights from the Spring Board Showcase include communicating and collaborating with grands in Jenks West Elementary's multiage program at Grace Skilled Nursing & Therapy, supporting students learning through multi-tiered systems of support at the Jenks Freshman Academy, developing POG attributes at the Jenks Alternative Center, exploring music with the Little Trojan Academy, and practicing effective communication and service learning in the community at Jenks East Elementary. Thanks to all the principals, teachers, and staff members who made this showcase possible!

We are looking forward to honoring these 3 incredible educators as they take the next step of their career - retirement! Help us send them off with love! Please join us at Jenks East Elementary for a Retirement Reception.

Hats off to these incredible ladies! Our JEE Trojan family appreciates all the efforts of our administrative assistants. Thank you to each of you for working tirelessly to support our students, staff, and families! We love you all!

The 9th grade Family and Consumer Science class came to enjoy an afternoon of STEM projects with Mrs. Yang's 3rd Grade Dual Language homeroom! We created "gadgets, gizmos, and doohickys" just like Rosie Revere, Engineer, and we had a contest to see who had the longest marble run (time-wise). It was a fun afternoon!

Calling all future Trojans! We will have informational meetings for Pre-K at JEE for all families! Please save this date and plan to join us!

Do you have a student that will be in Kindergarten next year? This is just for you. Please join us for our Kindergarten informational meetings, followed by our Dual Language program informational meetings! These won't want to be missed. We hope to see you.

IT IS OFFICIAL!
The Jenks Public Schools Board of Education voted to approve Tuesday, May 28 as the last day of school for the 2023-24 school year. June 3 was the original last day of school on the instructional calendar. Because JPS used only one of the five weather days built into the instructional calendar on January 22, the last day of school for students is shifted from June 3 to May 28. Wednesday, May 29 will be a teacher workday at elementary, intermediate, and secondary sites.

Enjoy your break and we will see you on Monday!

Registration for students returning to Jenks Public Schools in the 2024-25 school year is open now. If your student(s) are returning to JPS for 2024-25, please complete registration by May 31, 2024. IMPORTANT: Back to School Registration is ONLY for students returning to JPS for the 2024-25 school year. Even our youngest Trojans are professionals at student led conferences. These pre-kindergarten students know exactly what they want to showcase to their loved ones, the progress they have made throughout the year and goals they have set for themselves. We are proud of these leaders! Way to go, Trojans!

Check out the amazing artists that are brightening the halls of JEE! Kindergarten students express their creativity through painting with the help of retired teacher & volunteer Lisa Allen. These beautiful works of art adorn the halls and bring smiles to our faces! Great job kindergarteners from Mrs. Brunk's, Mrs. Stanley's and Mrs. Horgen's classes and thank you Ms. Allen for your continued dedication to our students!
