Wow! What an incredible morning spent at Jenks Middle School! 🎼🧬🦎🇺🇸 Dr. Butterfield was serenaded by Mr. Brown's 7th grade Vocal Music students, sat in on DNA trait research presentations, and was introduced to Mr. Ratliff's leopard gecko, Dread! Her last stop was in Mr. Ford's 8th grade US history class where students shared their artwork on what life in the colonies was like. Thank you, teachers, for having us in your classrooms today!

Thanks to the Jenks Public Schools Foundation, all 11th grade students had the opportunity to visit University of Oklahoma's Fred Jones Jr. Museum of Art. This Growing Through the Arts experience allowed juniors to explore the art of various periods and cultures in one of the finest university art museums in the United States. The incredible opportunity to immerse our Trojans in different forms of art from around the world wouldn't have been possible without the funding from the JPSF! #5AFriday #Arts

Dr. Butterfield's site visit at Jenks Freshman Academy gave us all the creative vibes! ✏️📓 This morning, we had the opportunity to step into Ms. Foreman's English class where students were implementing different writing processes. Dr. Butterfield, Principal Gray, and the students took a glance at different images of different people and jotted down how the person made them feel. Students later used those explanations to develop characters. Thank you, Ms. Foreman, for welcoming us into your classroom!
