If you have not done so already, please complete Back to School Registration by this Friday, May 30. All returning students are required to update their information prior to the beginning of the 2025-26 school year. Failure to register your child for the 2025-26 school year could delay schedule pick up, meet the teacher, correct bus stop information and correct school assignment. Students who have been placed on hold due to residence can upload your proof of residence on your child's registration. If you have moved out of district, transfer applications will be available June 1, 2025 and MUST be submitted online. Transfer requests will begin being reviewed on July 7 and parents will be notified by email. All information regarding transfers is on the JPS website under "Enrollment." Go to jenksps.org for step-by-step instructions on completing registration. Thank you!

Culture meets creativity in geography class!
To explore the concept of cultural diffusion—the spread of cultural elements from one group to another—students became global marketers for McDonald’s!
They researched the cultures and cuisines of countries around the world and designed new, culturally inspired McDonald’s menu items. From spicy samosas to sushi burgers, their creations blended global flavors with fast food flair.

You are so much more than just one test! A test can’t show how kind you are, how hard you try, or how creative your ideas are. It doesn’t measure your dreams or your determination. Keep doing your best, believe in yourself, and remember—you are amazing just as you are! 💛🌈📚✨

While studying daylight patterns, fifth-grade students were able to use math and science to track the amount of daylight on the first month for 2013 around the world. What patterns do you notice in these graphs?

📷Tomorrow, Friday, April 11th is Picture Day! Remember to show up with your best smile for the camera! 📷

Pop! Bang! Wow! 💥🎨 Students in art channeled their inner Roy Lichtenstein, creating bold, comic-style art using primary colors and eye-catching onomatopoeias!

The geometry lessons continue for our 5th graders as they learn about regular and irregular polygons. #handsonlearning

Students in fifth grade used their measurement skills to create artwork! Students measured strips of paper to the nearest 1/16th of an inch and to the nearest millimeter in their art.
In another class, students used protractors to measure angles they had created. Both groups included keys for their viewers.

Sixth grade teachers and students celebrated the greatest ratio of all time before Spring Break! ℼ🥧
Students in Mrs. Sikes and Mrs. Beacham's classes challenged themselves to write down as many digits of Pi as possible -- without any hints! One student correctly identified 208 digits! Students in Mrs. Spradlin's classroom brushed up on their measuring skills when they wondered, "Wait.. how do we actually measure a circle?".

Before spring break, our amazing PTAG hosted a March Madness 3v3 basketball tournament at Jenks West Intermediate! 🏆
A huge THANK YOU to everyone who played, volunteered, and brought the energy—this event was a slam dunk success!
#JWIHoops #MarchMadness

To introduce ratios in math, students in Mrs. Williams' math class used Business : Party with mullets! Students measured, wrote, and even created their own mullet ratio to enter into the "annual mullet festival". 🤘 📝🥇

Great minds inquire together! 💡✨ When students collaborate—asking questions, solving challenges, and giving meaningful feedback—they spark deeper learning for everyone. Let’s keep the conversation going! 🔍📚 #InquiryInAction #CollaborateToInnovate #StrongerTogether
