Group of 25 second-graders holding up their yellow rocks in front of the kindness mural

This year's Kindness Week was just spectacular here at Jenks Southeast! Students celebrated throughout the week by wearing name tags to learn the names of new friends, wearing house team colors to color our world with kindness, getting to know each other's special interests on Wednesday, wearing neon to brighten someone's day.

Our JSE school counselors Kristen Young and Amy Berkinshaw also facilitated two school-wide art activities: students were able to contribute kindness circles to a mural in the lobby and each student painted a kindness rock for the garden by the front office. Jenks Southeast Trojans took kindness to infinity and beyond this week!
