Last week, five Jenks Southeast Elementary students were featured in the Oklahoma Art Education Association’s (OAEA) Young People’s Art Exhibit at the Modella Gallery in Stillwater. Congratulations to fourth-graders Krish and Heidi, third-grader Ellie, second-grader Harrison, and first-grader Elizabeth for having their creativity and talent showcased!
All students were honored at the YPAE reception and exhibit, with three of these students winning awards: Ellie earned second-place in the Elementary category and Krish and Elizabeth both won honorable mentions. JSE art teacher Angela Harris-Bowles does an amazing job instructing students and finding opportunities for their hard work and creativity to shine!
