NWE staff, students, and families came together this October for an adventure on the Trojan Trail during our Story Walk Family Night! As students and parents hiked along the trail, they followed the story of The Golden Acorn by Katy Hudson, reading each page along the path.
Armed with binoculars, students searched for hidden golden acorns throughout the trail.
The Trojans Read the Way Book Mobile gave students the chance to choose a book to take home and a popsicle to enjoy. Thank you to all the families who joined us for this memorable evening. Events like these help our community grow closer while celebrating the joy of reading!
