Today's Fun Friday Activity during Focus/ICAP time was hallway bowling. Class averages are being tallied to come up with a winning class who will get the coveted chicken trophy.
JAC students have been practicing their hula-hoop skills this week in order to compete for who can hula-hoop the longest. The representative from Mr. Martin's class won Top Hooper!
At JAC, we are in the middle of our 2nd trimester. A fun tradition on the last week of school before Winter Break are focus activities. Day 1: Lego Build Race; Mrs. Hall's class won!

Halloween at JAC means costumes, pancake and pumpkin decorating!
Students had the opportunity to visit Carmichael's Pumpkin Patch in anticipation of our annual pumpkin decorating contest.
Students at JAC also have the opportunity to participate in Jenks High School sports, arts, and activities. Our student Harley Riley is a member of the Guard for Band.

Last school year, an Arts grant allowed JAC to visit the Tulsa Glassblowing School, which led to a student getting connected to a mentor and doing work there. Eli Cheney is pictured with his abstract pumpkin glass sculpture.
Ms. Combes' Forensic Science class made comic strips to demonstrate the life cycle of flies (insect succession) which is used by forensic entomologists to help determine how long a body has been deceased.
