It is an exclusive honor. Only 100 seniors from public high schools across the state earn the distinction of 2026 Oklahoma Academic All-State Scholar from the Oklahoma Foundation for Excellence. Jenks High School has six students—second most of any high school in Oklahoma—named to the prestigious list.
Tej Beniwal, Krishna Bhadriraju, Cody Brown, Aiden Hoskin, Sahil Patel, and Emma Zhang will each receive a $1,500 merit-based scholarship and be honored at the annual Academic Awards Celebration in May in Oklahoma City.
Academic All-Staters are selected based on academic achievement, leadership, and community service. This year’s class marks the 40th anniversary of the Oklahoma Academic All-State Award. Hundreds of nominations were received statewide, and winners are selected by a committee of business, education, and civic leaders based on overall applications, essays, and letters of recommendation.
