Say hello to our November Spotlight employees: New to JEI this year, Makayla Turner has already made a wonderful impact on both staff and her 5th grade students. Her positive energy and dedication shine every day — we’re so glad to have her on our team! We’re thrilled to welcome Michelle Jones back to JEI this year as a para. Her kindness, dedication, and connection with students shine every day — and her students absolutely love her!

Looking back at our October Staff Spotlights, we want to recognize Laura Hightower and LaCrisha Denver. Laura Hightower! In her 9th year at JEI, Laura serves as our dedicated ELD teacher. Her compassion, commitment, and countless hours of care make a lasting impact on every student she teaches. Now in her 2nd year at JEI, LaCrisha is our Cool Lab Supervisor. Ms. Denver brings warmth, care, and genuine connection to every student she supports. JEI is lucky to have you both!

Our Backpack program could use some individual donations. Thank you for your generosity!

Congratulations to our 5th and 6th Grade students who were nominated for a True Trojan award.

We recognize that there are students who are not able to purchase books each book fair. We partner with the community to help provide certificates for these students to get a book of their choosing. If you would like to donate, please click on the link below to the JEI E-Wallet or send the money with your child to school to drop it in the donation box. We will have a cash donation box as well that families can donate to anytime throughout the fair. Thank you for supporting our students!
