CONCURRENT ENROLLMENT: Juniors and Seniors who meet the admissions requirements may take up to two, 3-hour college courses each semester and have the tuition waived. Students will receive both high school AND college credit. See your Counselor to see if you qualify and to pick up an application. There's two ways to earn Concurrent Enrollment credit:
1) "Traditional" CONCURRENT ENROLLMENT in which the student picks the approved, college-courses courses he or she wishes to take. These are taught at the Tulsa Community College campuses. Tuition is free, however students will still pay fees (approx $120 per class), purchase books for the course(s) and provide their own transportation. Students may choose when CCEN is listed in their schedules.
2) TCC RIVERSIDE CONCURRENT ENROLLMENT : These courses are exclusive to Jenks High School juniors and seniors. Students must take two classes from a limited list choices (see Course Guide) during the 1st and 2nd hours of their schedule. Tuition is free, and the fees are greatly reduced (approx $36 per class) and Jenks HS provides the books and transportation.
"DRIVERS LETTER" OR READING PROFICIENCY LETTER: Please come in to the Guidance Office and sign up for the certified statement of your enrollment and reading proficiency. Please give us 48 hours to complete the letter, but it may be done within 24 hours if time allows. You will need to come back to the Guidance Office to pick up your letter.
GPA CALCULATOR While the GPA on your transcript is a cumulative GPA, here's a free tool to let you figure out your core GPA, or your GPA for a semester.
