Spring Tryouts for '23-'24 Jenks Baseball Teams

Eligibility Requirements

▌ Student must have a valid Jenks student ID number and be actively enrolled in the district.

▌ Student must be in good academic standing.

▌ Student must be an incoming 9th - 12th grader for the 2023-2024 school year beginning in August, 2023.

▌ Prior experience is strongly encouraged, but not required.

Dates and Times:

May 16th and May 17th, 2023

5:00pm - 7:00pm

Makeup Time (In the event of bad weather on the 16th and/or 17th)

May 18th, 2023

5:00pm - 7:00pm 

Location:

Students attending this tryout must also bring the following items:

▌Glove

▌Cleats

▌Water

▌Appropriate baseball attire

▌Student ID

Process for Current Jenks Public Schools Students WITH a Valid Student ID Number

If the student in question has a current Jenks Public Schools Student ID Number, then they or their parents are welcome to contact our head baseball coach directly via email at Ryan.Hendricks@jenksps.org to discuss joining the team.

Process for Students Transferring into District

If you are considering transferring into the district and do not have a JPS student ID number yet, you are not allowed to speak with our coaches due to OSSAA policies on recruiting.

We ask that you contact the athletic department (Trojan.Athletics@jenksps.org or 918-299-4415 x2214). We will provide you with information on our baseball program or set up a meeting with the athletic director if needed. You will continue going through our department staff for your athletic needs until you move into district and obtain a current student ID number. At that point, we will get you in touch with our coaches.
