JPS Distance Learning UPDATE

Students at Jenks Middle School will return to school for in-person learning tomorrow – Tuesday, January 25.
We can all do our part to take care of our Trojan family and mitigate the spread of COVID-19. We continue to encourage students, staff, and visitors to wear a mask during this Omicron surge. Students and staff are encouraged to wash hands frequently throughout the day, and socially distance when possible.
We will continue to watch our staffing data closely. Sites may have to transition to distance learning if adequate staffing levels cannot be maintained. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
Students at East Elementary and Northwest Elementary will return to school for in-person learning on Thursday, January 20.
Due to a high number of staff absences, Jenks Middle School will transition to distance learning on Thursday, January 20. JMS will remain in distance learning through Monday and return to in-person learning on Tuesday, January 25.
Information for JMS students on assignments and coursework during distance learning will be emailed from teacher(s) or posted on Canvas.
All students at JMS will be in distance learning on Thursday, January 20. Families of students with IEP contingency plans will be contacted directly by staff members or by their special education teachers on Thursday morning.
For students in distance learning, FREE meals are available for pick up from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. on the north side of the Central Campus Dining Hall at Jenks High School.
Activities and athletics will continue during this period of distance learning while following existing COVID protocols.
