Overview
Founded in 1908, Jenks Public Schools encompasses the city of Jenks on the west side of the Arkansas River, and portions of South Tulsa on the east side of the Arkansas River.
The District is made up of 10 distinct school sites with an overall enrollment of 12,400 students and approximately 1,600 staff members.

What time does school begin and end?
Although the school day is the same length for all students at Jenks Public Schools, start and end times vary by grade level.
Intermediate (Grades 5-6): 7:45 a.m. – 2:25 p.m.
Elementary (Grades K-4): 8:30 a.m. – 3:10 p.m.
Middle School/Freshman Academy/High School (Grades 7-12): 9:15 a.m. – 3:55 p.m.
*Pre-K (at all elementary sites): 8:05 a.m. – 2:50 p.m.
How do I enroll my child in Jenks Public Schools?
Please visit the Enrollment Center page on the JPS website for information about enrollment and enrollment requirements.
If you are enrolling a child at JPS for the first time, you must click here to complete the online forms. You may complete the online enrollment process from a computer, laptop, iPad or your mobile device. The key to a smooth enrollment process is to have the following documents uploaded onto your child's account prior to submitting the enrollment. Incomplete enrollments will not be processed which could result in your child not being placed in a class. The following documents must be uploaded during the online enrollment process.
- Proof of Residence
- If you own your home- Current (within 30 days) water, gas or electric bill in your name.
- If you are leasing a home- Current lease and current (within 30 days) gas, water or electric bill in your name.
- If you live in an apartment- Current lease with parent/guardian's name listed as lease holder or occupant.
- If you just closed on a home- Settlement Statement
- Immunization Records - must be signed by a health professional or a school official, some schools no longer provide this information to us.
- Birth Certificate - parent/guardian must provide this document, hospital certificates cannot be accepted
- Withdraw papers from the previous school - required when school is in session
- Transcript for 9th-12th grades and report card for all other grades
- Parents/Guardians driver's license
- Divorce decree or custody papers (if applicable)

How do I arrange for my child to ride the bus to and from school?
During the enrollment process, you can specify whether or not your child will be riding the bus to and from school. If your child is designated as a bus rider, you will receive an email before the beginning of the school year with information including the bus number and bus stop location.
