The 2018 National Dance Team Competition at the ESPN Park at Disney World in Orlando, Florida, has been a huge success for Jenks Pom! The Varsity, Jr. Varsity and Freshmen teams all advanced to finals on Saturday, February 3rd. Each team danced their best performances of the year! Varsity won sixth place in the Large Pom Category. Kristin Phibbs, Varsity Coach, has had phenomenal success in this venue, and continues to build winning teams. Jr. Varsity earned a second place showing in the Jr. Varsity Pom category. Tiffany Stimson, JV coach, was thrilled with the results! Our Freshmen team was successful as well! They finished fourth, and with Ashley Rubey as coach, they really excelled! This competition marks the end of our competition year! Pom will have an Information Meeting about Pom tryouts on Feb. 19, 3rd floor of the Sharp, 7:00 pm. Congratulations to all our young ladies for their hard work this past year, and they represented Jenks Public Schools in an outstanding manner!
