My name is Sarah Tronnier, I am excited to be joining the team at JEI! I have either volunteered or been employed by Jenks public schools for a combined total of 8 years. I have come here from JSE.
I feel that every experience I have had in my (almost) 43 years has prepared me for this season in life, and I am honored to be a paraprofessional at this JEI.
A little background on me...I received my B.S.. in Family Relations and Child Development from Oklahoma State University in 1999. Professionally, I have worked in social services agencies that serve children and their families, as a Patient Advocate at a cancer hospital, as Director of a private preschool and finally as a Para substitute/teacher substitute and CA at Jenks.
My family is the most important part of my life. My husband Nathan and I will celebrate our 16th wedding anniversary in October. We are blessed with two extraordinary children. John will be entering 8th grade this year at JMS and Stella will be a 5th grader right here at JEI! We have a mini zoo at home. Rusty the golden retriever, Maple the mutt, Froggy the cat, Toby the crested gecko, 2 inherited aquatic frogs (Sylvia and Lei) and lastly, Shrek the fish that lives forever.
I am the youngest "child" of 7 in a beautifully blended family. I first became an Aunt when I was 4 years old, at this time, I have 16 nieces and nephews and a plethora of precious great nieces/nephews! My Momma (Nana) lives nearby and is an integral part of our life, my sweet Daddy has Alzheimer's disease...advocating for those without a voice is a passion of mine.
I LOVE getting to know the hearts of people and sharing my own, I am absolutely excited for the privilege of being here.
I look forward to this adventure!
