We will begin  our year with map and globe skills including reviewing the continents, oceans and hemispheres.  Latitude and longitude will be studied, as well as landforms, waterways, and many more geographical terms. After that, we will focus on the economics of our nation, as well as the responsibilities of our
branches of the Federal Government. Next, we will narrow our view to our state of Oklahoma through our textbook studies.
We'll explore Oklahoma history and geography before and after our step back
in time to Rose Hill, a one-room school in Perry, Oklahoma.
During the second semester, we will study the Regions of the United States
(history, landforms, climate, economics, places to visit) while
learning the states and capitals of each region.
