7th Grade Math Class

 

About Mrs. Robinson:

This is my 7th year at Jenks Middle School and my 15th year working in schools. I graduated from Oklahoma State University in 1996 with a BS in Elementary Education and in 1999 with a MS in Counseling and Student Personnel (Go Pokes!!). I am certified to teach Math, Social Studies, and be a School Counselor. My family loves to travel, play golf, go to the lake, and spend time with family and friends.  My husband, Matt and I have two step-daughters (Madeline and Sammy), two dogs (Bella, Lulu) and a cat (Boomer).

What will we learn in 7th grade Math?

We will learn about integers, fractions, decimals, ratios, one & two step equations, inequalities, problem solving, probability, data analysis, geometry and many other fun and exciting Math concepts. 

Supplies Expected Everday For Class:

1. pencils (Bring Mrs. Robinson a pack of pencils (each semester) and I will supply you pencils all year during Math class).

2.We will use a spiral notebook (70 page) for a Math Journal. 

3. We may use a 3 ring binder (1in). I will let you know the first day of school.

4. You will need loose leaf wide rule paper all year long.

If you need pens and/or highlighters, I will let you borrow mine to use during class.

Grading Scale:

A  90%-100%     B  80%-89%     C  70%-79%     D 60%-69%     F 59% and below

***If a student earns a 70% or below on an assignment, the student will have to redo the assignment and then the assignment will be regraded.***
