Stacy Howerton, School Library Media Specialist
Stacy Howerton graduated with a Bachelor's Degree from Loyola Marymount University where she majored in English Literature and minored in Philosophy. She also holds a Master's in Education from National University as well as a School Library Media Specialist Certification from Northeastern State University.
Mrs. Howerton has worked in the field of education for ten years, starting her career in the Los Angeles Unified School District in California. There, she taught multiple subjects ranging from kindergarten to fifth-grade levels.
In 2008, Mrs. Howerton joined Jenks Public Schools as a fifth-grade language arts and social studies teacher. She later moved to Jenks High School in order to teach English 10: American Literature and English 12: British Literature. She currently works as one of the school librarians in the Jenks High School Media Center.
