Your Jenks High School Talent Show will be held during Advisory on Tuesday, November 14th. The cost is $5, and proceeds will benefit Prom 2019

November is Native American Heritage Month. Tuesday, November 14, 2017 fact of the day: The state is truly what Chief Allen Wright’s Choctaw name for it, Okla Homma, conveys in a free translation: ‘Home of the Red People.’ More than sixty-seven tribes and bands have been located with the state” and today there are 39 federally recognized tribes in Oklahoma.
On Wednesday, all Dodgeball players will be checked out of class at 12:45 pm. Report immediately to the TAC. If you have 2nd lunch, please bring your lunch to the TAC.
Native American Club is accepting donations to help Murrow Indian Children’s Home in Muskogee. Murrow Indian Children’s Home currently provides a home for 20-30 Native American children. These are children that are in State or Tribal Custody and in the current foster care and adoption system. Cash donations (by check) can be made to Murrow at 2540 Murrow Circle, Muskogee, Oklahoma 74403
Club picture day is this Thursday in the PAC. Please be sure you have your club t-shirts…no t-shirt no picture. See your club sponsor for details. Picture times will be posted in all building offices and outside the Yearbook room 5125.

JENKS/OWASSO FOOTBALL STATE PLAYOFF GAME at the University of Tulsa Saturday, November 18, 2017 at 5:00 pm. Football tickets will be sold at the Sharp Center, 3rd floor Athletic Office, beginning Tues Nov 14th. All tickets for football playoffs are $7.00 (students/adults/seniors). This is an OSSAA playoff event so everyone must purchase an OSSAA ticket to attend this event.
DFY Members: This Sunday, Nov 19 is DFY Dodgeball! Put together a team of 8-10 people and join us from 2-4pm at the Jenks Indoor Softball Facility. The winning team members will each receive a $10 QT gift card and there will be a drawing for $50 Visa card for anyone who attends the event this Sunday. You must be present in order to win. The next blood drive will be December 8th for OBI and will be held from 8:30-3:00 on the third floor of the Math and Science bldg. The sign up is on the JHS life calendar on December 8. 16 year olds can print a permission slip there, or get one at room 111 of the math and science bldg. There will be fun holiday sweaters given to donors, as well as snacks.
