Efi Chatzigiannidis, Media Center Assistant
I am a Teachers Assistant in the Media Center, I'll do my best to assist you whenever I can! I also supervise the students before school, in the cafeteria during their lunch time and by the buses after school.
Professionally I am a Computer Programmer but I chose to use my knowledge to help our school and children. I got my degree in South Africa
I know that I have a very difficult last name to pronounce, it is acceptable for the students to call me Mrs. Efi.
For those of you willing to try and pronounce this name, here is a easy phonetic way to pronounce it ...
"Ha-Gee-I-need-this" (Chatzigiannidis), you need to say this quickly.
Have fun getting it right! Yes, I am Greek but was raised in South Africa (that's where my accent is from), I moved to USA in 1997.
I am a mother 2 two daughters, My oldest is a student at OU and my youngest is a Sophomore at Jenks High school.
My children are involved in many extra curricular activities and I try to help them in any ways that I can. My husband George is also a computer programmer by day and a ECNL soccer coach in the evenings and weekends.
Fun Facts: My daughters and I are ethnic dancers at the Tulsa Greek Festival in September every year. We raise pygmy goats and chickens.
I look forward to interacting and helping our students every day.
