Gifted Services
- Identified gifted students in grades 1-6 are placed in cluster groups within regular classrooms.
- Gifted services are primarily delivered through differentiation of the curriculum by the classroom teachers. Parents receive a Differentiation Summary Form every nine weeks and a Terminology Explanation at fall conferences.
- Site Gifted Coordinators serve as consultants to provide resources for teachers, work with small groups on special projects, and/or team teach in classrooms.
- Academic competitions are available for those who wish to pursue their academic strengths. These may include Word Masters, News Bowl, and Math Counts as well as others.
