Dynamic Dads
Dynamic Dads is a monthly volunteer opportunity at East Intermediate which encourages dads, stepdads, grandfathers, uncles, guardians, etc. to play an active role in their child's education. Dynamic Dads is an opportunity to meet and get to know the children that your child spends their day with. Dynamic Dads makes a difference in your life, your child's life, as well as children throughout the school. Be part of a positive process that is as easy as spending quality time with your child and their friends!
Dynamic Dads gather in the JEI Media Center for a short meeting at 7:20 - 7:45 a.m. From 7:50 - 8:10 a.m. they go to classrooms to share doughnuts and to discuss positive character traits with the children.
All dads, stepdads, grandfathers, uncles, guardians, etc. are invited to participate in this great opportunity!
The first Dynamic Dads will be Friday, September 30. If you think you might be participating at any time during the year, we ask that you come in at sometime prior to the first Dynamic Dads meeting and register on Lobby Guard and let Ms. Lindsay in the office know the name of your student's homeroom teacher. By registering with Lobby Guard beforehand, we can have a nametag ready for you. You must go through Lobby Guard before you can participate in Dynamic Dads!
This year's dates (all Fridays) are: September 30, October 28, November 18, January 27, February 24, March 30, and April 27.
