Construction
Having safe and secure facilities is of prime importance in keeping with the Jenks philosophy of continuous improvement. Management processes have been put in place to monitor all Jenks Public Schools buildings and grounds. Patron and parental support through the passage of bond issues has enabled JPS to continually update and improve all campuses.
A new school project is just as exciting as a new house and Jenks patrons are anxious to get a look at the construction progress at various sites throughout the district. School officials and construction companies are asking all visitors to obtain permission before visiting construction sites and to observe the following rules while visiting:
* Visitors, including parents, students, and district employees, must be accompanied by an authorized person while on site
* Hard hats, safety glasses, closed-toed shoes, and appropriate durable clothing must be worn while visiting construction sites
* While driving through construction areas, be aware of ground debris and construction vehicles in motion
Jenks Public Schools asks that residents please be considerate of the various construction companies building in the district. These companies want to keep their excellent safety records and do not want a person to be hurt on the site while they are in charge.
