JPS Introduces Trojan Tipline App to Enhance School Safety
The safety and security of our students and staff members is always the top priority at Jenks Public Schools.
Now, JPS is introducing the Trojan Tipline – a fast and anonymous way for students, parents, and employees to submit safety information or report any suspicious activity. For years, JPS officials have been encouraging everyone in the District to say something if you see something or hear something. With the Trojan Tipline, you can submit a safety tip via an app, text message, or from a computer.
***These are three separate options. You do not need to have the app on your phone in order to send a text message or submit a tip on the website.***
1. Download the Trojan Tipline app for iOS or Android – search Trojan Tipline in the app store.
2. Send a text message to 847411. Enter one of the following codes (required), hit "Space," and then type as much information as possible and send to 847411.
TEXT CODE LOCATION
JENKSHS Jenks High School
JENKSFA Jenks Freshman Academy
JENKSAC Jenks Alternative Center
JENKSMS Jenks Middle School
JENKSK6 Any Jenks elementary or intermediate site
JENKSPS A Jenks facility or department not affiliated with a site
3. Submit a tip on the Trojan Tipline web page. Click the link, scroll down, and select your location to submit a tip from your computer.
Please encourage your students to download the Trojan Tipline app and learn how to submit an anonymous safety tip.
Once a tip has been submitted, it will be viewed by a site administrator and appropriate action can be taken. Tips will only be monitored on school days during normal school hours. For an immediate response, please contact Jenks Public Schools at 918-299-4415.
PLEASE NOTE: The Trojan Tipline is simply another communication option. If you see something suspicious or have a concern, you are encouraged to go to a principal or school administrator. The Trojan Tipline is also not a replacement for calling 9-1-1. If you need to report an emergency or if you are in immediate danger, dial 9-1-1 immediately.
We can all play a part in helping to keep our schools safe and secure. Please take a few moments to download the Trojan Tipline app and familiarize yourself with the options for submitting a safety tip. As always, if you see something or hear something, SAY SOMETHING.
In addition to the Trojan Tipline, a new page about safety and security has been added to the Jenks Public Schools’ website. This page includes answers to frequently asked questions and allows parents to ask questions or submit safety-related comments. The page also includes a list of resources in place at JPS to help ensure a safe and secure learning environment. Please click the link below to familiarize yourself with the new page and learn more about how our District is continuously evaluating and improving our safety practices.
