Varsity Girls Assistant and Sophomore Head Coach Taneisha Aeschleman
Taneisha is entering her third season as a Sophomore Coach and Varsity Assistant. She is a 1997 Peoria Manual High School alum where she participated in basketball and track. She attended Illinois Central College and won two National Junior College Championships. She and her team were inducted into the Illinois Basketball Coaches Association Hall of Fame in 2002. Taneisha is a returning Jenks Lady Trojan Coach where she served as the Sophomore Coach and Varsity Assistant from 2009 - 2011, during that time as an assistant coach at Jenks the team won several regular season tournaments and made two regionals appearances. Taneisha returned in 2015 as one of the Freshman coaches and had a successful season leading her team to win the Frontier Valley Conference Championship. Taneisha and her family moved to Tulsa in 2008 from Miami, Florida, she has been married to her husband Brad for 14 years and they have five children; Alexis, who is a 2017 graduate of Jenks High School, Bradley, Ciarra, Dominick and Ethan who still attends Jenks Schools. Her coaching philosophy: An athletes character is more important than their talent, and she hopes to enhance their leadership skills, self-discipline and work ethic to create well rounded individuals on and off the court. She strongly believes that a positive attitude is everything!
