Head Athletic Trainer, Michael Catterson
Michael Catterson started as the Head Athletic Trainer at Jenks High School in January of 2016. In this capacity he is responsible for the entire athletic training program which includes the health and welfare of over 1400 student athletes for Jenks Public Schools. He works and supervises numerous JPS sporting events ensuring our student athletes have the best care. He is a graduate of the University of Tulsa and the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. His work experience includes a variety of clinical, collegiate and high school settings. Prior to Jenks he worked at Deer Creek High School, Southwestern Oklahoma State University, and most recently, Tulsa Technology Center. Michael is an active member of state, district and national athletic training organizations. He is a past president of the Oklahoma Athletic Trainers' Association and currently serves on the Secondary School Athletic Trainers’ Committee for the National Athletic Trainers' Association. In 2014, he was awarded the NATA Service Award. He is married to his lovely wife Kimberly and has two kids, Marie and Zeke.
