Cornell Notes

Materials Management:  The Avid Binder

  • Continue to maintain an organized binder
  • Complete 10 pages of notes for each binder check

Time Management:  

The Agenda

  • Maintain use of the agenda, assignment log or AVID calendar to include school activities as well as class assignments, projects, and tests
  • Continue to use backwards mapping for long-term assignments

Learning Styles

  • Use understanding of personal learning style and apply the understanding to individual courses and teachers
