Bartleby.com is a free internet source for verse, quotations, and books.

Poetry.org provides a series of links to various poetry sites.  Poets and Poetry is also a useful link to poets and poems.

The Poetry Foundation, publisher of Poetry Magazine, provides bibliographic information about numerous poets as well as their poems.  Look under the Resources Tab, Poetry Tool to link to the Poet or Poem search.

Famous Poets and Poems.com

Tang Poetry - the Tang period is considered the golden age of Chinese poetry.  Read through these 300 Tang poems to get a view of Chinese life during this period (618-907).

Poetry Collection - full text of some of the world's best poems and verse, essays and humor.  This site also has links to other Poetry sites.

Encyclopedia Britannica - provides biographical information and links to other web sites.  This site also provides citation information for the article - look at the bottom of the article/page.

Columbia Granger's World of Poetry includes poet biographies, poems, poetry sources, a listening room, and much more.

Biographical information about more famous poets can be found at the Poet's Corner.

The Tulsa County Library has several Poetry sites.  You may need to have your library card available to access some of the sites.  The information varies from biographies to poems to links to other sites.
