Bus Stop Information
Due to the economic downturn in Oklahoma, Jenks Public Schools was required to cut 2 million dollars from its budget for this school year, requiring every school site and department to contribute to the budget reduction process. While school districts are not mandated either federally or by the state of Oklahoma to provide transportation services, Jenks Public Schools has always considered these services to be essential for our students. Therefore, bus services to and from school will continue for our students. While we are pleased to announce that eligibility has not changed, bus routes have been streamlined with stops that are farther apart and much more centrally located. We appreciate your patience and understanding with this process.
Instructions / Tips for using the Jenks Public Schools Transportation Bus Stop Information Link:

The first screen you see will ask you for a User Name and Password.
The User Name is guest and the Password is jenks (all lowercase letters).
After you login, you should be on a screen which says School/Transportation Search
Step 1 – Select a Grade
Step 2 – Enter Address Information (House # Street Zip)
The Street needs to be in a specific format and Street Names need to be complete.
Apartment numbers are not needed.

Step 3 – Start the Search (click on Find School/Transportation Info)
When you submit your information, bus stop information will search the VersaTrans Map for your bus route information.
If your address cannot be located, it may list possible options to select from and you can rerun the search. If it tells you that the Home address cannot be located and the address format is correct, your address may be outside the Jenks School District. Contact the Enrollment Center for clarification.
If your address is found, you will get a page giving you the name of the school your student attends, bus status (ride or walk), the distance from the address to the stop, the stop location and the bus number and times.
If your search comes back with "not available" please contact the Transportation Office.

Due to the fluid nature of bus ridership during the first few weeks of school, bus stop requests will not be considered until after September 5th, 2011.
